This week Carolina spoke at the JASMAX Head Office on the importance of built heritage to local communities. Carolina spoke not only of the importance of preserving and revitalising heritage, but of creating new heritage for future generations.
It was a great opportunity for those in attendance to learn about the ethical issues facing heritage conservation and development. The presentation also introduced many to the theories of Cesare Brandi and how they apply to Architecture.
